Possible header 2 (PERFORMANCE tab).jpg

Jonathan has been writing and arranging music since he was fifteen years old. He received his first commission in 2007, and has since written for the University of St. Thomas, Abercrombie Academy, and horn soloist Thomas Bacon. He became a published composer in 2008, with “Dreams, Yearning” for horn and piano. Many of his pieces have won honors and awards: in 2007, his Prelude for Piano received first prize in the TMTA statewide composition competition and “Dreams, Yearning” advanced to the final rounds of the Robert Avalon Competition for Young Composers.
